What kinds of events do we bring the kopi cart to?

Genista Ln caters community events and private celebrations right across Singapore, from a carnival where the whole block turns up to a birthday for twenty at a void deck, a condo function room or a landed property. Same cart, same crew, and the only real question is which package fits.

When the whole block is invited

Genista Ln serves community events of 40 to 250 guests from a single cart, set up and pouring within 45 minutes. The full Nanyang menu means kopi and teh for the residents and Milo for the children, and it is one small crew rather than another vendor for your committee to chase.

For something private

When it’s your family, in your own space

Genista Ln’s Family-friendly Cart is built for private celebrations: birthdays, family gatherings, house parties and festive get-togethers, at a condo function room, a landed property, a void deck or wherever you are hosting. It starts at about $428 for up to 40 cups, which is where most private bookings land, with one crew, one to two hours, the full Nanyang menu and a complimentary ice box. It is also how this whole thing started: Grandma’s 96th, at a Yishun void deck.

Where we set up

• 

  Can you set up at a void deck?

  Yes, and it is where Genista Ln started. The cart rolls into a void deck or an HDB common area on its own castors and needs a 3.0 m by 2.5 m corner with two 13 amp points, or just one if we pour coffee only.

  Can you come to a condo function room or clubhouse?

  Yes. We have poured in a condominium clubhouse with families sitting down to eat at long tables, and an indoor function room suits the cart well: it wheels in, sets up in 45 minutes and leaves nothing behind.

  Can you cater a party at a landed property?

  Yes. A car porch, a driveway or a garden all work, and we have served a family birthday in exactly that setting. All we need is a flat 3.0 m by 2.5 m and a socket within reach.

  Do you do CC, RC and open house events?

  Yes, community clubs and residents’ committees are a regular part of our work, from movie nights and award ceremonies to Chinese New Year and National Day open houses. One cart and one small crew cover 40 to 250 guests.

  Can you serve at a school or campus?

  Yes. Genista Ln has poured for schools, preschools and university campuses, either as a live cart in a staff room or foyer, or as pouches packed on ice and dropped off for a whole department.

  What if there’s no power, or no room for a cart?

  Then a Party Box does the job instead. It is three litres of kopi on a tap, serves around 20 people from $48, needs nothing plugged in, and we can pack individual pouches if you would rather each guest took their own.

Guide rates, nett. Every package includes the full menu, two-way transport, set-up and crew. Surcharges apply for early hours before 8am, public holidays, and Tuas, Jurong or Sentosa.
